BIOGRAPHY

Hey, I`m Lotta - 23.
I grew up in Italy and now I am currently living in Germany.
I believe art holds an incredible kind of power.
It’s hard to put into words what happens inside me when I create.
But it can feel e so unbelievably satisfying. For me it feels like you´re in tact with something much greater than yourself.
Rightnow I'm studying Fine Arts in Dresden.
With all the great people and artists I met and learned from, I realized that art don't really has limits. The more you push through limits you set yourself, the better the art gets.
And playing somewhere between chaos and order.
The creative process doesn`t start in my studio. It starts when I´m waking up, when I have my coffee, even at night, when I have a walk down the street, when I´m watching people, when I see destroyed house facades or broken glass on the street cement. Every little thing I see can be inspiration and leads to my process in the studio.
So that`s why I love working process oriented.
I usually begin without a big concept — just a few large brushstrokes, letting things emerge. Along the way, hundreds of new ideas appear. I keep going until my eye feels satisfied.
I don’t want to just catch your eye.
I want to spark something in you — a laugh, a memory, a new idea, a fresh perspective, or simply a moment of pause.
Here are some photos from the studios. Where I spend most of my time.
